POOJA OR SERVICES AVAILABLE IN OR OUTSIDE TEMPLE

Iowa Hindu Temple EC has made following services available to our community in or outside temple. The EC & our priest need minimum of one month advance notice to perform services outside the temple. All services requests are considered by first-come-first-served basis (see calendar to find out if priest or temple services are already reserved). Temple's own programs receive priority over requested services. All emergency service requests might carry additional charges. However, EC & our priest will work with you depending on your needs. Please send an email first to priest at iowahindutemple dot org before calling EC members or P riest to discuss your services. Priest or EC WILL NOT confirm any services over the phone without getting EMAIL FIRST. If you have not received email from EC members, that means your program is not going to happen. So, please make sure to obtain confirmation via email. This is to make sure that there is not conflict with your program, Temple program or already reserved in/outside private services and also treat each and every devotee equally after numerour suggestions by community members. As always, we appreciate your co-operation.

* Temple kitchen & dinning hall must be reserved separately. Use facilities reservation form to reserve kitchen & dinning hall. Prayer hall is available only for religious services. Sponsors must supply or buy all pooja materials. Temple would supply pooja materials in case they are unavailable, for a nominal donations to Temple. ** Make checks payable to "Eastern Iowa Hindu Temple" and hand it over to our priest as soon as he concludes your requested services. In addition to Temple Fee, you need to pay, 50 Centss per mile as fuel surcharge for services outside Cedar Rapids. Please give a minimum of $51 as Dakshina to our priest for first 3 hours of his services and $25 per hour for any additional services over and above first 3 hours of services. Please donate to temple generously (donations are eligible for tax deduction).
